BBC reporter Claudia Hammond visited the Hawthorne Museum last spring as part of her research on the Hawthorne effect. The Hawthorne effect gets its name from a series of studies conducted at the Hawthorne Works, the manufacturing complex of Western Electric that was once based in Cicero, IL.

Hawthorne Museum volunteer Tom Bransness and Morton Library Reference Librarian Rosalie Guerrero are featured on the BBC radio series Mind Changers, Series 4, the Hawthorne Effect. The Mind Changers series explores the development of the science of psychology during the 20th century.
